Vacancies - Two Councillors
NOTICE OF CO-OPTION OF PARISH COUNCILLOR (TWO POSITIONS)
The Electoral Services Department of Derbyshire Dales District Council has confirmed that the regulation 10 requests from electors have not been fulfilled and the Parish Council may now fill the two casual vacancies by co-option.
Notice is hereby given that two vacancies have arisen in the Office of Councillor for Carsington & Hopton Parish Council and we invite applicants to apply for co-option. It should be noted that the vacancies are specifically as follows:
One Vacancy – Carsington representative
One Vacancy – Hopton representative
Any person willing to fill this vacancy should apply by the Friday 25th September 2026.

Defibrillator Update
A big thanks to Cllr Bex Cole-Morgan & Cllr Neil MacPherson for supplying and installing our brand new defib sign at the Carsington First Aid Station (the former telephone box).
