Vacancies - Councillor

Following the recent resignations of Cllr Lou Corbett and Cllr Bex Cole-Morgan, we now have a two vacancies for a suitable person to join the Council. One of the vacancies is open for Hopton residents, the other for Carsington residents.

Nominations for an election should be made to the Returning Officer at DDDC by Monday 14th September 2026.

If no election is required, the vacancies will be filled by co-option.

Defibrillator Update

A big thanks to Cllr Bex Cole-Morgan & Cllr Neil MacPherson for supplying and installing our brand new defib sign at the Carsington First Aid Station (the former telephone box).

Neil's handyman skills are certainly welcome to the Council!
